Call Out Charges

To determine the fault(s) on the system, we have to test the system to find the root problems which are not always apparent by visual inspection and can be complex due to multiple faults.Call out charges are in relation to the distance travelled and the time taken to determine the fault by the engineer. Payment in full is required for the engineer’s call out to your property and you agree to pay the engineer on the day of the visit.

Our engineers will do their best to inform you of any faults and/or damage found in connection with the visit on the day, however systems that have been neglected by the way of preventable maintenance may have multiple faults. All parts are ordered on behalf of the client are fully chargeable.

Payments

Customers are required to settle in full, all associated call-out, labour and part charges when engaging the services of Assured Gate Services. Our engineers will inform you of our hourly rate and / or additional charges for the callout on the day of the visit.

Please note that all Credit/Debit card payments will be subject to a 3% surcharge.

If a data signal is not available at the time of transaction, cash or cheque will be requested.

Important Notes

In response to the Health & Safety Executive’s most recent Safety Notices, our Risk Survey, carried out as part of each set service call, has been enhanced and recommendations for additional safety may follow. We would like to emphasise that it remains the owner/managing agent’s responsibility to carry out regular Health & Safety Risk Assessments on all power operated systems.

Assured Gate Services will not accept any consequential liability, or responsibility, either directly or indirectly, for any injury or claim, howsoever arising, as a result of the customer’s failure to carry out the safety recommendations made by Assured Gate Services or agent of the same.

Customer Acceptance Of Terms

I authorise the engineer to inspect the installation and or fault(s) reported.

I have read and understand that full settlement is required on work completed and that the call out charge is due on the day of the engineer visit, along with all other labour or parts used as appropriate.
