We were called out to repair there existing automation but found on arrival that the original posts, gates and automation was beyond repair.
So we set out replacing the old rotten timber posts with new galvanised and powder coated, 120mm steel posts to provide the customer with a much longer lasting product. With us opting for the steel posts we also managed to create a larger opening for the customer due to the posts being smaller in size.
We also had to change the gates due to them being rotten and falling apart, on this project we went for Scandinavian redwood timber gates that were much thicker and stronger to suit the automation.
The automation used on this project was Nice underground automation utilising slowdown on opening and closing of operation for a smooth and refined operation with the ability to open both gates together or just the one gate for pedestrians.
