Underground Swing
Gate Operators
Designed to be concealed underground (below the hinge and virtually invisible), underground swing operators are the most functional and desirable solution for any type of swing gate, as you can automate the gate without altering its shape or design. This type of opener is electromechanical to achieve smooth and fluid movement.
About Underground Automation
An underground motor can move a gate up to a maximum of 3.5m per gate and up to 600 kg's in weight. The motor when in operation, can rotate up to 180°. There is a release key on either side of the gate in case of a power failure, so you can still get into your property during a power cut.
Arm
Automation
This type of automation is generally more economical than the underground system. Electro-mechanical motors are mounted on the back of each gate leaf and are available in various designs and finishes. They are sturdy, powerful operators that are generally installed on wood or steel posts.
About Arm Automation
Piston automation can move a gate up to a maximum of 5m per gate and up to 800kg's in weight. The motor when in operation, has a 125° opening limit.
Arm automation can usually be installed on existing gates.
Gate Mounted
Articulated Arm
Gate mounted articulated arms offer a universal solution for gates installed on large posts where the installation of a linear operator proves impractical or impossible.
Electromechanical motors fitted with an articulated arm allow flexible positioning of the motor unit away from the gate hinges. No welding is necessary as the operator can be mounted on any structure and has a mounting bracket. There is no pinch point or scissor movement of the arms and in special space requirements, the system can use a straight telescopic arm instead of the articulated arm.
About Articulated Arm Automation
This type of automation device can move a gate up to a maximum of 1.8m per gate and up to 250kg's in weight. The motor, when in operation has a 95° opening limit.
